DeMarcus Cousins is on track for first All-Star game since 2011
DeMarcus Davis’ return to the All-NBA Team on Wednesday could put the Sacramento Kings center on track to be the first player since 2010-11 to be a first-team All-star.
Cousins has earned All-Defense honours for his play on both ends of the floor, averaging 18.9 points, 9.2 rebounds and 4.8 assists over his first two seasons.
He also has been the team’s leading scorer with 20.4 points, 11.5 rebounds and 5.9 assists per game in the past two campaigns.
The Kings have won nine of their past 10 games and have made the playoffs for the second time in three seasons, winning the Western Conference for the third straight season.
